...I just walked into the house after a weekend on the beach in sunny Florida. It's hard to switch over instantly to things like SARS -g.

I don't think that I need too much in a way of antiviral suits. The moment the word gets out that I am examining patients wearing a mask, gloves and eye protection, no one will set foot in my office anyway... g/ng.

I bought a few boxes of surgical masks, which I will use if necessary, and am also planning to give them to staff, friends, family, etc. That's about all I acquired beyond my usual supplies.

At this time I would expect that the SARS outbreak will slow down for the summer months. I think that by winter we may have some vaccines and, hopefully, will manage to contain the infection. I am not being complacent, really, just trying to keep things in perspective.
