I have another question for you and anyone else on this board: If the Fed is printing money these days, why cannot the Fed just go out and use the fresh dollars they just printed and start buying QQQ and DIA? If Nasdaq is over 2000 mark or Dow is over 10000, that will be a big boost for the business owners and CEOs. That feel-good wealth effect will boost business spending, something the Fed has been painfully looking for, correct? So why doesn't the Fed just go out and buy stocks?
