Haolin, If I recall correctly H&Q released their buy recommendation a day or two after the results of the phase III study were publically released which is way before the secondary was announced. As I stated before, I'll check on Monday for the exact date and confirm that they are in on the underwriting syndicate. I believe that there is a 99.99% chance that you are barking up the wrong tree as the H&Q's know the rules as well as the NASD and SEC. Besides, even if for some crazy reason they are in the wrong[extremely, extremely doubtful] any potential lawsuit would not be against AVIR but rather H&Q. It is not AVIR's responsibility to make sure brokerage firms are following NASD compliance. I don't understand your comments in reference to H&Q's report" That is the reason why such recommendation did not be released because it is against nasdq rules". Now if what you are saying is that H&Q didn't release their report[which they did] of course there is no violation because they followed the rules and did not release the report. As far as Sturza's comments he can say and do what he wants since he is not in the underwriting. Your post is like a dying man desparately fighting for air and is an insult to the likes of H&Q. You really should have your facts and dates before you make such acqusations. As far as the previously released comments before the double blind placebo results, please HIGHLIGHT them so all can see and your reason to believe that these comments lead to someone knowing the results beforehand. You must realy think that management of AVIR are not only crooks but dumber then hell to make public comments for everyone to incriminate them. I am real curious to see how you twisted these comments. After my two posts addressing the insiders could you or could you not confirm what I said that most of the filings where 144 filings that gives the appearance of insider selling and the reality is they are no relation to the firm. As I posted before I'll confirm on Monday as well as highlight other successful biotech companies with high insider selling and I think you will see that the majority[at least in July] are not related to the company. I have already highlighted a few biotechs with alot of insider selling that have been successful but I'll do it again with more specifics. YOur point on the old suffering diseases and may not be suitable for AVIR's product is a valid point but if they're currently taking the flu vaccine by shot, I don't see why AVIR's product would be any different. You have brought up a point of concern since AVIR technology is different.
Haolin, I tried to reason with you and I certainly don't care if you are short but you irritate the hell out of me with bullshit with no foundation. Your comments about violations of H&Q and AVIR when you don't know the rules and without documentation of dates is just plain irresponsive.
