No, I don't know that. I request you supply some links for this assertion. As I recall the U.S. Supreme Court over-ruled the Florida court, which is their right, and denied Gore a ballot recount because a fair recount could not be accomplished within the time limits set by Florida law. Upon this decision Gore promptly conceded defeat. I understand full well that a lot of people didn't like the Supreme Court decision for political reasons, but the decision was completely legal. Keep in mind this. Regardless of the Supreme Court decision BUSH WON THE VOTE. A recount of the vote that took place well after the Supreme Court decision demonstrated that Bush would've won the vote anyway. Thus, even if the Supreme Court had allowed the recount, Bush still would've won.

False!!! In the state of Maryland, where I live, the electronic balloting process begins with a real paper ballot which the voter fills out by marking black boxes with a pencil. The ballot is fed into a scanner which registers the votes. THE ORIGINAL PAPER BALLOT IS KEPT in the event a recount is required or if a scanner is shown to have malfunctioned.

The first two jets hit WTC within 18 minutes of each other. The President was informed at 9:30 a.m. and the third plane hit the Pentagon 13 minutes later.
Nobody in government had an inkling of the magnitude of the events taking place that morning much less have the time to do anything about it.
Even had the entire US Air Force been in the air that morning do you really think that President Bush would've ordered them to shoot down passenger liners headed for large cities, military facilities or nuclear plants? No one in a position of responsibility could've issued an order like that without knowing all the facts.
