Hi Dave,

I don't really know what to expect, as I haven't played the last few months very well. What I do know is the market is trading where it had hoped to be, had the economy actually turned and improved. But GDP is still much weaker than it should be and unemployment is worse and profits not justified by valuations. Since I believe we're deep in fluff now I can't see it getting much fluffier? I would be in better shape had I bought more crappy crap in Oct-Jan....not the MSFT's etc. I see a little temporary easing of the downside momentum due to government spending, however going forward I see the struggle very difficult as margins will be thinner and costs rising. We're in deep shit. Short term stimulus won't last the summer IMO. Oil needs to come down fast and hard and stay steady 6+ mos. under near 20 with lower dollar.....maybe by summer 2004 we can sustain a crappy 3% GDP? We may see a Q near 4% but it would be an aberration or numbers play IMO. The downturn probably start after all my put options expire in June? Feb Apr and May not good months for me....looks like another year of underperformance? I hope for the best but am preparing for the worse. I don't plan planting any new seeds in the market. I went bearish last month when the economic numbers started their double dip? I was expecting the Nas to outperform but not this.
