When I wrote "failed nation", I had finished reading the article and I realized that my quote might be inaccurate, but I was using "nation" and "state" as synonyms.

Please reconsider with "failed state" replacing "failed nation".

I didn't know that Israel is "buddies" with Turkey and you should know that Israel has already "made peace" with Egypt.

You suggest that Israel make peace with "failed states". What value is there to a treaty with a "failed state"? Why would one believe that a "failed state" will uphold the treaty. Most importantly, why would one weaken oneself strategically by exchanging land for promises made by "failed states"?

Israel is clearly the most powerful in the region. This can be made permanent by strengthening a triad (air, land, sea) of nuclear delivery systems and targeting the capitols of every enemy state. This is called "mutual assured destruction". Strategic depth is important to support the triad.
