When I speak or write French, I actually feel freer, more more culuturd, and more romantic than when I speak English. It's sort of like the Alaskan Indians who have a hundred words or something to describe snow. The language itself has a particular perspective on reality, having been developed looking out on a certain set of circumstances. Is there some concept in Japanese that is much more emphasized or varied or constricted than it is in English? THAT was my question!!
