You are focusing on media politics and not on reality.

Israel has nuclear weapons. No one is going to disarm them or India. There is no "umbrella" for Israel. The reason for the state of Israel is to provide its own umbrella for Jews.

Accepting or denying WMD is not according to rules. Israel is no threat to the US. Iraq is/was.

MAD meant nukes on both sides in the cold war, but my use balances 5M Jews with nukes against 100s of millions of enemies with conventional and non-nuke unconventional (chemical, biological). The enemy is working to destroy Israel. The MAD I described is a deterrent.

Israel doesn't need to "convince" anyone. The people of the US understand Israel's neighorhood much beeter now after it was brought home very graphically on 9/11.

Why should Israel have a different map than the Pals? From the Jordan to the Sea is the Pals motto. "Territorial enlargement" is an appropriate way to penalize terrorism.
