I think 1-10 is too difficult and too subjective. In the theme of the article, "failed" is "failed!" Peace is usually made between victors and vanquished. Trust is not an issue. The "fundamental conflict" is two people, one land. I wouldn't pay money for the prospects of Syrian, Iranian, or Saudi leadership. I agree, "power does not last forever." I don't think Sharon must consider "forever." If it is not "fun" for Israel, the tragedy for its neighbors will run into the 100s of millions compared to Israel's 5 million. You have described a "renaissance" for Islam before "forever." It might be prudent for Israel to remain strong and wait?
