All right, ST. Here is the Ladeen quote from the article.

"Just a few months ago, Georgian President Eduard Shevardnadze held a press conference in which he announced that his country's leading nuclear experts were in Iran, working on the mullahs' bomb."

Why does that surprise you? Wouldn't you expect the Mullahs to hire former Soviet Union Nuclear Bomb experts to help them make a bomb? Shevardnadze was not quoted by Ledeen in this article as stating he was in favor of this, or had sent them there. Just that this had happened. Nothing unusual here that I can see. Ledeen did not say that

" a head of state will give a press conference and say he is helping Iran build nuclear bombs?"

That is your inference, not Ledeens.
