The goal of the Bush administration, from start to finish, was REGIME CHANGE-a nice way of saying flush the sewer rat out.

The question "why now" was NEVER anything by anti-American propaganda, well beneath the dignity of an answer. Saddam created 91101 through his Al Quaeda henchmen, and thus he had to be eliminated. That task has been accomplished. An important bi-product is the great damage done to the DOMESTIC enemy (you and your sewer-rat pals). In the long run, the blow to the Marxist/Leninist anti-American traitors will carry importance at least equal to the elimination of Saddam.

And THAT explains why the left STILL continues their crusade of treason, even after Bush's great victory...
