Jewel,
I'm either suffering from cognitive dissonance, or you are speaking out of both sides of your mouth.
Example:
Statement 1: "I am not a Bush apologist."
Statement 2: "I respect him for the stands he has taken in the face of such opposition."
What, pray tell, is there not about Statement 2 that is not an apology for a "Stupid White Man ...and Other Sorry Excuses for the State of the Nation!" to paraphrase Michael Moore?
************ Re: Too bad people like the "Dixie Chicks" (wadajoke), and you can't figure that out.
Of course the irony here is that other dedicated anti-Bushistas like Bruce Springsteen get a free ride on their criticisms of the President, because of status, I reckon.
FYI, the Dixie Chicks are currently on tour back in good ol' U.S.A. and the vicious and malignant campaign that Tom Hicks wages on Natalie Maines through his repugnant and Repuglican Clear Channel Radio Network (1,200 blatant propaganda outlets and counting!) isn't working.
The Dixie Chicks are selling out and receiving standing ovations from standing room only crowds.
You are out of touch with the majority of Americans. You are in a distinct minority of people who don't quite have the mental capacity to see through George Bush and feel utter repulsion at the evil that he is attempting to impose on the world.
Next Google search for you, dear. "Bush Is Evil"
