Wharf...I actually had the Honor of attending a talk with George McGovern on the eve of IWII...... Truly a Great American....... his 35 missions over Europe are noteworthy.... As Pilot of a Airforce Bomber..... compared to Tricky Dicks 'service'...which was mostly spent playing poker aboard ship in some safe harbor McGovern spoke of his close friendship between himself and Bob Dole... and how Dole asked him ,as a personal favor, to attend former First Lady Pat Nixon's funeral... At the funeral... dick came over and thanked him for being there... saying that Pat would be pleased to know he had come...... A simple twist of fate.... the crooks run rampant (still)... and the common man knows little of what's going on.......... 24% of the voting population voted for jr And the Supremes sang.. 'He's so Fine'......... Thx for posting GM's letter
