Steve ..

Crucial has a very easy to use website ...
crucial.com
on the left is a menu ...
Top system manufacturers

select Dell
go

then
select your Dell product line
Dimension
go

then
select your Dell model
select 2350
go

there will appear compatable modules *(this is a vital reason I use Crucial .. their stuff FITS the box OR motherboard for which I'm ordering)

prices
63.99 for 512 is what I ordered ...
free shipping
but I pay tax ...

I think you'll find them a good company with which to do business ..
AND
they'll send you directions on how to install the stick, too ... free ..

and, it is easy to do ....
the first time, perhaps a bit scary, but .. it is easy ...

there are two slots in the 2350 ...
depends upon if you want to use both sticks or not ...

I feel the 512 is fine by itself ...

and as long as one doesn't use EXCESSIVE force to install a stick it can't be put in the wrong way ...

there are numerous websites with illustrated pics of how to install mem ...
it has remained the same for years now ...
even with the faster mem, the sticks still go in the same manner ..
and there is no way to get it in backwards now ...

good luck
