Sorry you are out of luck. The companies that are getting rich off of building and running prisons have better lobbyists and more money than the pot smokers. What you need is for the pot growers to get involved then you would have a real battle. Unfortunately, most of them like to keep a low profile for some reason or another. <g>

Also, I have heard rumors that the tobacco companies have plans in place and seeds ready so they can quickly get into the pot business if the opportunity arises. To bad the big tobacco lobbyists seem to be getting sh*t kicked out of them lately by other more powerful groups.

There is also a chance that the crappy economy that is hitting the state coffers will weaken the power of the groups in favor of more and bigger prisons. I guess that could be one benefit of a depression. Freedom through poverty?
