<if they are aiming for a 10 out of 10 for accounting conservatism, then why the resistance to stock options expensing?> Unestimatable. Uncertain. No reasonable assurance that an expense does in fact exist in future. You know kinda like an earthquake might oneday flatten their HQ, but they don't depreciate the odds of that expense either. Or kinda like the outcome of a frivilous Trillion dollar lawsuit, footnoted but no liability set up.
