The Polish people opposed the Iraq war as little or much as the German people. The only difference between the two countries is the attitude of the leader. Schröder, by an accident of nature (the floods last autumn), happened to become chancellor, by a razor-thin margin. Currently his party "enjoys" an all-time poll low of about 26%. Germans have learned that toppling leaders violently is not the way to express the political will. So unfortunately patience until the next elections in 2006 is required.
