i think the "petty" indicator is an excellent tool in analyzing how desperate a whole situation is...cutting back on a meal in prison is an example to me as i said of how desperate the economy is...same as a business manager raging about toilet supply costs, free coffee, or some other ridiculous thing...many of the companies i had worked for lost $$$ and they would have lost money even if employees brought their own toilet paper and did their work by candlelight...petty petty petty while "Rome" is burning... sometimes you go to an annual shareholder meeting...one year they give you lunch, the next year it is coffee or water...got to make you think...
