<<Ask j6p if he see's pricing pressure and you get a different answer>>

well, i may not be j6p so maybe i don't qualify for your survey, but i continue to see falling prices everywhere. clothes for my baby girl. clothes for my wife and myself. room rates at nice ranches in Moab and Durango. mountain bike parts. food at Burger King (hey, it was the only place we could eat in middle-of-nowhere New Mexico on our drive). any and every piece of imported plastic available at WalMart.

that article that Zonder linked was hilarious. import prices up 20% due to the fall in the dollar? dood clearly needs to leave his office at Western Ontario and go shopping. the new VW i'm looking at is cheaper than it was last year. again, ditto all the imported plastic crap i buy for the baby at WalMart. priced a camera phone recently -- the price sure ain't goin' UP. or maybe the guy should talk to a corporte buyer -- i just listened to the Children's Place call and they said the prices they pay to source goods are still FALLING due to massive overcapacity; they are sourcing goods in AFRICA now.

last time i looked, actually, one of the few prices that is not falling is the price of TNX. wonder how those Forbes readers who shorted govvies are doing??
(oh yeah, the other price going up is Green Monster tickets at Fenway <g>)

yeah, i know, rearview mirror, pompous jerk, gov't stats lie, etc etc etc.

Cheers
