I posted this on another thread, but feel is important to post again:

BTW, I was watching Spy Kids II on video, with my little boy, and the language was atrocious! I really do not recommend those four letter words to children, or anyone!! The only four letter word I will use is l-o-v-e!!:) I believe I will return it to the store.

On the radio today, people were calling in to tell the tall tales that their parents told them. I am too upfront and honest, so I will never tell tales, but some of the things that parents tell their children are unbelievable.

One parent said she had eyes in the back of her head, and scared her children. So, I am conscious of what I say, because telling the truth is obviously important!!:)

I am sure these are common tales, so nothing new, but to her the impact, of now adults was interesting. One family said not to leave a little girl's doll at her Father's company picnic because of vultures.

One Father tells his little boy that if he eats his vegetales, he can beat up anyone.

I remember babysitting as an adult. This little girl was telling me all the four letter words that her Father said.

Sometimes, I let my little boy watch the Bil Cosby program about funny things that children say and do. It is amazing to see what they pick up, and their interpretation.

FWIW, Westi:)!!
