Ah! so you are including the Turkish kings of Iran? I was keeping it separate since there were many wars between the two sides, not to mention the cultural differences. One of the ironic things was that for quite some time the court language in Iran was Turkish while at the same time the Turkish kings used Persian as the language of the court.
