"And how long would you like the jury to stay "out"?" Why do you think it impossible for Saddam to have gotten rid of all evidence in the time leading up to the war? I think he know that Bush would come to get him, and had GREAT MOTIVATION to rid the country before we got there. He had France (one of his biggest customers, Russia (the largest producer of chems and bios), and Germany running cover for him for months leading up to the war. I think if you saw Baghdad Bob on the tele during the war you see that the Iraqi regime was not embarrassed to lie aggressively. Bugs me when our country is condemened as liars and Saddam Hussein is assumed to be honorable. Especially when the U.N. even stated that he had WMD's as late as 1995 and a specific condition of 1441 was to declare what happened with them and they would not. Why wouldn't they iyo?
