Joel, What can be inferred from the article, but wasn't specifically mentioned, is that German domestic consumer spending must have contracted yet again during the latest period. Germany's biggest problem right now isn't exports or even tax receivables. It's that the people have virtually closed their wallets and zipped them tight. Very tough times ahead for the German economy... KJC
