Wow, you're more bullish on IOM than anyone I've read. The official announced number of Zips sold through the channel is 7 million, and someone estimated 7 1/2 million have been sold by now. KE said, a long time ago when about 4-5 million had been sold, that he thought a removable storage could be considered a standard once it sold 10 million. This may have been the source of your confusion, since someone repeated that KE quote recently on one of the IOM threads. My opinion is it will take more like 20M before Zip is the acknowledged floppy replacement standard. Sometime in the second half of 1998.
