You've got sentiment up the wazoo on the bullish side.

How so?

If 10 trees fall in the forest and nobody is there to hear it, do they make a sound?

If 10 timers go bullish and their followers go "so what?" does it make the market bullish?

Brinker told his subscribers to buy QQQ for up to 25% of their portfolios just weeks ago and I read here you guys can't find any to short? I guess his millions of listeners are not buying his bull switch after you traders toasted his subscribers in 2000 when he recommended up to 1/3 a portfolio into them in the $80's!???

I look at fund flow and I still see money going into bonds.

The latest data says $67M came OUT of equities last week!!! Hell, with all the 401K plans, you'd think there would be a positive number no matter what, eh? For money to be NEGATIVE from equity funds while positive into bond funds... especially junk bond funds, how can you say sentiment is too bullish?

I saw one month that money flow into bonds was 41 times that into equities! If you consider a balanced portfolio for those that don't time the market would have this flow equal with regular investment plans, this tells me the public is very bearish.

How many non professional friends do you have that brag about their stock gains? People I meet tell me about bonds and think I'm nuts owning stocks until I tell them how well I've done...

I don't know... Perhaps you are right and the economy will tank but I am starting to be of the belief that the stock market drives the economy as it IS THE measure of sentiment...
