And when it does happen, Tom Siebel almost always has someone other than himself lined up to take the blame, as in the example of his VP of sales that went to SAP.

Can you refresh my memory as to what the issue was there?

The only other thing I can think of that has a philosophical divide that breaks companies apart from other groups (not shareholders) is the H1-B and outsourcing issue. That isn't something that comes up in shareholder meetings, but if it did, I'm sure it would be the same kind of deal, a relentless rehash of the same issues with no side ever altering their views. In the case of H1-Bs and outsourcing, Sebl is the good corporate citizen and Oracle is the abuser. Something tells me that if this outsourcing H1-B issue came up in every every external meeting whether SEBL was portrayed as a villain or not, they would try to cut it off. It just isn't productive going down these philosophical paths imo, and again, if people have issues with the way companies are run why not just move on?
