AuGRID Signs LOI to Acquire Private E-commerce Company
CLEVELAND, May 15, 2003 (BUSINESS WIRE) -- AuGRID Corporation (OTCBB:AGRD) announces it has signed a letter of intent to acquire a Southwestern E-commerce company with annual revenues in excess of $1 million.
This acquisition will enhance AuGRID's distribution subsidiary's Internet audio product capability on a global level.
"The distribution division will benefit from an established E-commerce sales channel," commented MJ Shaheed, President of AuGRID. "This is a revenue generating company. We see it as a natural fit to grow both our company and our distribution subsidiary."
The due diligence period is underway; management plans to complete the process in 45 days.
AuGRID's distribution subsidiary delivers next generation LCD and plasma displays for end users in consumer and commercial electronic markets.
