I don't think they will do that soon, as it would probably be perceived as a hostile sign by the US, and OPEC countries probably don't want to push it at this point - "with us or against us" and all that, you know....

I sort of remember Saddam saying something about quoting Iraq's oil in EURs, but that was a long time ago and he got sanctioned afterwards.

If OPEC does change its pricing mechanism to EUR or (more likely) to a basket of currencies, that would be a serious blow to USD.
