Hi Franklin, you sure are right that Data Race has been in a severe decline since the beginning of the year with horrible fundamentals but a very low valuation of approx 55 million and interesting technology. I wish I could say that I have recently sold but unfortunately I can't other then one round of selling late last year. I will tell you that my first round of accummulation started as low as 4 3/4 with an average cost basis of approx 7 1/2 to 8. I also have posted quite frequently on the Idec thread of which I have been a long term holder since 1994 in the low single digits. You won't see many other posts other then just a couple in Agouron[some excellent info from shorts and longs] and Tcln of which I attemted to rebuff some false statements made on Idec's lead product. If you want to hear about my losers I have plenty of them and would be glad to bore you of investments that have not worked out for one reason or another. My professional background as it applies to the topic at hand stems with 10 yrs as a retail broker at a major wire house of which I left to form my own investment firm. I am President of Treasure Coast investment advisors as well as Dunlap Capital Advisors. Both companies are the mangement arm of a hedge funds by the name of Horizon I and Horizon II and as of Friday the Dunalp fund officially opened for trading. I am a very small manger with approx $22 million in discretionary accounts, or via the hedge fund and am doing my best to get the needed 5 yr audited track record to attract larger additional $. In 1993 I was fortunate to have one the United States Investing Championship which I entered my own account and finished up 272 % for the year and results were printed on a quarterely basis in Barrons and Investor Business Daily. I also won a fictitional stock competition[ professional division] sponsored by USA Today and FNNCNBC. Results reported in USA TODAY. I currrently am a level 2 candidate in the CFA program that gives me alot of respect for analysts and the due dilly of research. Finally, I am sorry if I have insulted you as my comments were not intended in your direction. SI is a wonderful forum for all investors to exchange information and unfortunately for myself the AVIR thread has not worked out as I would have liked. Good luck
