It's not a "need", it's a logical deduction based upon an understanding of things that possibly lie beyond the three dimensions that constitutes "nature".

What is it that you know and nobody else does, that lets you claim that the existence of God is a "logical deduction"? What is your "understanding of things", pray tell?

What you may view as "supernatural" is, for me, merely an extention of that natural environment, but merely an aspect that we cannot physically experience, but logically can have TREMENDOUS impact upon everything within the three lower dimensions, just as we, as 3D creatures can create and direct objects within the second and first dimensions.

I think what you mean to say here is that:
(1) Higher dimensions exist beyond doubt
(2) There are creatures in those higher dimensional universes
(3) Those creatures have an active interest in our universe and can and do change things around here

Thus, what you call "supernatural" is only that because you refuse to acknowledge its existence as being natural

Are you trying to enervate me? What on earth (or other dimensional universes) are you talking about????

Like, there IS some stuff that is actually "natural" but only seems "supernatural" to ME because I REFUSE to see it??? Like WHAT? Telepathy? Destiny? Heaven/Hell? Clairvoyance? Virgin birth?

Just WHAT is it that surely exists but whose "existence" I "refuse to acknowledge"???

Once again, like a cartoon character who refuses to believe that it has been created by an animator/writer, just because you refuse to acknowledge the influence of extra-dimensional entities on our lives, doesn't mean that it's not the case

I am sorry but I cannot take you seriously at this point.

Unless you care to provide proof for what you call "the influence of extra-dimensional entities in our lives", I am not interested in continuing this conversation with you.

For your info, the current studies in physics predict more than three dimensions. In fact, certain superstring ("membrane", really) theories are "most elegant" in 11-dimensions - 10 of space, and 1 of time.

It is galling to have studied all that above and beyond any layman's depth, and be reproached for "refusing to acknowledge" the possible existence of higher dimensions.

I think I am going to be sick...

So either clearly describe and show proof for whatever it is you think I am "refusing to acknowledge", or I am afraid this conversation is over.
