fishing was not ... trip was not ... had this been back in my hard drinking days, I swear I'da been looped by the time the sun hit the yardarm *(morning sun <ggg>) .... best part was neither my soninlaw OR I drowned ...... first fish ... nice black bout 4lbs ... broke the line just as I raised him into the boat ... hit the top rail and was a fifty-fifty decision on which way to go .... he went the wrong way for me and the right way for him .... BACK into the water ... and that was about the BEST thing that happened on the "fishing trip" .. oh well ... fishing sober one gets to recall these things with too much clarity ...... heh heh heh heh heh but the race was nice .... main thing I hate about this horse is his hOME :)
