There is nothing wrong with taking into account the full meaning and repercussions of one's action before taking a stand. There is nothing "Leninist" in saying that one does not think that the contemplated activity rises to the level of impeachable offense, considering the reluctance to create a political crisis. The bar is not at all clear, and those of us who thought he should be removed made a poor case, or public opinion would not have remained favorable to him for so long.........
