The sad part is that while you convinced yourself of these "truths" before Iraq was even a front-burner issue, you have failed to convince anyone else except Lizzie of any real, factual support for your sweeping indictment. "Alienating potential allies," "destroying... international institutions" and "neglecting our national security" are nothing more than vague accusations masquerading as political discourse or, as a famous political writer once put it, "sheer humbug" designed to "give an appearance of solidity to pure wind."
