Since we are experiencing close to zero inflation, clearly we are not just printing money willy nilly. There is an argument for a stimulus, insofar as the recovery has been sluggish and jobless, productivity gains taking up the slack. The preferred Republican form of stimulus is tax cutting, because it skews spending choices the least. That is mainly what I meant......
