You've been reading far too much Bush propoganda. It's pushed you back into the binary logic. People are either for Bush or they are anti-American. Faculty members in ME Studies are either Said followers, bad, or Pipes followers, good.

You've lost your critical facilities on this one. Beeman doesn't like Lewis' recent work and he offers some illustrations as to the ways it is wrong. Neither of us is in a position to know whether it's wrong, at least in any serious sense. I respond well to arguments which say someone over simplified an argument and in doing so misstated it. That's Beeman's argument about Lewis' recent popular stuff. All the rest about motives, you can take or leave it. Clearly it gets to you.
