Hi Jay, In Europe, nearly 40 percent of car sales are diesel. Presumably this is so because the price of diesel fuel is less expensive than the price of gasoline (in Europe). So would it also be safe to presume that the holier-than-thou attitude displayed by some Europeans towards the USA with regards to air pollution and the US rejection of the Kyoto Protocol on global warming doesn't extend so far as to include their own use of heavier polluting diesel fuel? No response necessary as it's a rhetorical question... <g> KJC
