Yeah, Scotty, I am afraid I have to agree. I think all of us against the war knew that the outcome would end with us winning the fighting. It was the principle of first aggression by this country, and the quite unpredictable, but almost certainly harmful consequences to us. We have pissed off a lot of people, and our military power will not be able to end it. Asymmetrical warfare by people with a mission. Not to mention JW's financial wars scenario, which I consider to be quite likely. Vietnam redeux, with turbans instead of black pj's. "It's the religion, stupid".

Wasn't this supposed to make us safer? I'm reading all over the place that AQ is on the move, not to mention their attacks over the weekend. I thought AQ was gone. "OBL, dead or alive"; too fucking busy trying to get Iraq's oil to finish Job 1, so we are right back where we were 9/10. I think we be in deep doo-doo.
