The most logical move in Iraq would be to impose (yes, we DID win) a government that EXCLUDES organized Islam, and prohibits Islamic clerics from holding any power. We might have to kill a few hundred thousand to get there. The sooner the better. In this case, you put a liberal in charge. The hate all religious people, and would sweep the Islamic clerics before them. Any legislator who mentions God get stood against a wall. MacArthur was a Roosevelt liberal, and made a GREAT governor-general of Japan. They LOVED him. In fact the only people who hated him were back home...
