Wonder how the market would be hit if North America really was performing some tests. 900 in Canada last year. More than 10 MILLION/year in Europe. In total more than 8.5 million cattle have been tested in 2001 and more than 10 million cattle will be tested in 2002. Details on the number of tests and the number of detected cases can be consulted on the chapter on statistics in the BSE web page of the European Commission.
