This might sound outlandish but one thing this thread has taught me over the years is that the 3 days following options expiration are often more untrustworthy than the days leading into expirations.

This fact has been correlated in my experience to reality, since I've paid attention to it. Again a subtle observation by Da Chief that has been fully substantiated in my own experience.
