No the stupid and ignorant very often cannot be the Americans that the informed are. What we spend on defense is not to have all those bombs. It's to have the skill set in humans to eliminate an enemy and not exterminate populations in the process.

And what we don't have to pay for is fives times the price in close in logistic support. But if we had that logistic support close in then using the limited scaled back logistics to slowly fix things in Iraq would be speedier.
