Stephanie-

You're right on all counts - the only problem is with Medicare coverage. Currently, the Medicare program will not pay for "well care" or preventive medicine, which is just what the scanners are designed for. A patient will need to be diagnosed with coronary artery disease, and then the scanner can be employed to "stage" the level of arterial occlusion. If anything, this technology points to a serious flaw in Medicare's coverage philosophy - it will be much cheaper to perform the scan every five years starting at age 65 than to treat a patient for an MI (heart attack) at 75 and then perform coronary artery bypass grafting. Still, it should be very popular with the under-65 base of patients once managed-care plans recognize the potential savings.

Did these guys give you any kind of a timeline for the stock's appreciation? Just wondering.......
