You like to play loose with the facts.

Bush won Fla by a small margin of valid votes. The rules of the election per-destined all overvotes to the garbage can. To try and assume how the invalid votes would have gone is rather silly.

I like all the Dem's complaints about the ballots. Ballots that were designed by dems in majority dem counties, and elections run by Dems. Tsk tsk.

Besides, I see the overvotes as survival of the fittest elections. Voting does not require a significant IQ. If you are too stupid to figure out a simple ballot, then it is best that your vote not count, since you obviously can not think your way through the issues. Of course, the Dem's consider the average citizen too stupid to understand the issues anyway, which is why they are trying to set up a nanny state.

And, just to remind you of the facts, 7 out of 9 US Supreme court justices agreed that the Democrat-COntrolled Fla Supreme court was trying to Hijack the election by imposing lopsided tally rules. Of these 7, 2 felt that there was time to recount. The remaining 5 did not, hence the controversy.
