Hello JG

Everyone’s missed opportunities aside, my preference on the Churchill & Mellville plays is Shear Minerals (SRM) not NEM or SWV. The latter two’s AV-1 Mellville outcrop is only 8m x 40m and much of that peninsula is limestone and therefore easily eroded. I'm betting what is found up there will be primarily hypabyssal and deeply eroded (small pipes and dykes).

The geochemistry on the Churchill targets is the same or similar to the Mellville targets but the host rock is typically Archean basement (not easily eroded). SRM is both the operator, has 51% and Rankin Inlet infrastructure is very near by. I'm betting any pipes will be larger (less eroded) than Melville’s and possibly even diatreme fascies.

NEM has a piece of both plays, and Kennecott recently bought the third partner’s share (Hunter’s) of the Mellville play so the big boys like what they see too.

Should be interesting this summer and next.

Regards

Vaughn
