I have not said i'm something special, just that i'm not a greedy ass that makes a living playing the craps table of OTCBB junk. That's not investing, it's just a form of gambling, and just like at black jack, craps etc., everyone thinks they have a sure fire system and they can't be beat, and when they're on a hot streak they brag about all the money they're making and how easy it is. Of course it always ends, they lose it all and then some, and then they're bitter about it. The same will happen here, maybe the market bounces the next week or so with the dollar, and the trash keeps going, i'll keep fading it. You see i'm not so arrogant as you guys, to actually believe that I can time the market, even in one little scammy stock, much less the whole market. I just sell when things seem really ridiculous, and everyone is "hi fiveing" over how well they're doing, and then add as it goes higher. Sooner or later though, reality returns, it all comes down, people start selling one thing to play another, and that selling gets others to sell, and the other that they move into goes against so they average down, and then they sell something else for money to average down, and it all falls in.
THE ONLY thing that works over time in the stock market is value investing. You buy stuff that is selling cheap, you sell stuff that is selling too high. I don't see much that's cheap, a lot that's high, so I sell. BTW your $5k gains in stocks that move that far are laughable. You claim to have several six figure accounts yet you make $3k on a stock up 600%? What, buy at 25 sell at 50 on 12k shares? Ties up $3k? You have $600k plus and only put 3k to work here? Wow you're even better allocated than me.(ok so i'm a little too concentrated in the airlines and otcbb momo crap sectors) |
