Hello Pezz, Today’ Mid-Day Report:

(a) Sold China Shipping finance.yahoo.com at HKD 2.325, bought here Message 18113247 and here Message 18141229 , thus realizing 48% gain over a 7 excruciatingly care-free months. I am figuring on buying back samo samo around October of this year, again and once more, in time for collecting on capital gains next year at the same time, yet again.

I cannot honestly say I know what to do with the resulting HKD proceeds, since it is tagged to the USD and therefore as suspect as toxic waste stirred into ox tail stew ;0)

Did you happen to notice that my idol, Soros Message 16170508 , is negative on the same USD that Maurice holds so dear? Soros specifically said he listened to Treasury Secretary Snow’s instruction on piling on the Dollar rout. Maurice said he suspects the Treasury Secretary is being disingenuous when calling for kicking the USD while it is down.

OT, even though the great Soros did not act upon this Message 16025306 , the action advised has happened, to a degree, in a manner of speaking, and will no doubt, as in no question, continue along the trajectory outlined:0)

(b) Bought another wallop of paper gold certificates with HKD cash. It seems a perfectly natural trade, because Secretary Snow said it was OK to pile on. I of course already have a substantial position in the physical and paper manifestations of perfection, but, presumably as in an orgy, too much is never enough ;0)

I think, as far as I am concerned, in order to prevent deflation of my portfolio, the benighted Maestro Greensputin and the mad Professor Bernankaput can simply jam the printing press on the full-on position, so that we can have some real excitement.

(c) Oops, almost forgot, I exchanged more HKD for less CAD, mad cow or insane pig not with standing.

Chugs, Jay
