11:03AM Lucent inks optical network deal w/ China Telecom (LU) by Michael Baron Lucent Technologies (LU) is gaining almost 6 percent to $2.42 after the company said it has signed a contract to build local optical transport networks in the Zhejiang province of China with China Telecom's Zhejiang Telecom unit. Financial terms weren't disclosed.
