What an idiot you are. Pat Buchanan received in a HEAVY democratic Palm Beach County more votes than anywhere. These were the same vote ballots that were manipulated by Jeb Bush the criminal to do exactly that and misdirect democratic votes based on pictures of the ballots used in that county. Jeb Bush and his brother G.W. should be in jail right now.

There is NO QUESTION BY ANYONE that Gore WON Florida and the election. Bush the fascist lying criminal STOLE the election. PERIOD.

Statistical analysis of Florida voting shows 2,800 votes for Buchanan were intended for Gore

BLOOMINGTON, Ind. -- More than 2,800 ballots cast for Reform Party candidate Pat Buchanan in Palm Beach County, Fla., last week were intended for the Democratic Party's candidate, Vice President Al Gore, according to a statistical analysis by Indiana University political science professor Burt Monroe, an expert in multi-party elections around the world.

Comparing vote ratios for Buchanan and Bush in all Florida counties, Monroe concluded that Buchanan on average received about 0.35 percent (542 votes) of the support Bush received. In Palm Beach County, however, Buchanan's support was about 2.23 percent of Bush's.

Buchanan received 3,407 votes in Palm Beach County, and Monroe estimated that the probability of that happening was about 1 in 25,000.

"The Palm Beach outcome is a substantial outlier and tells us with near certainty that something in Palm Beach is very different from the rest of the counties," Monroe said.

The study addresses the possibility that the use of the controversial "butterfly ballots" led to unusual election results in Palm Beach County. In his analysis, Monroe assumed that all of the votes beyond the average 0.35 percent support that Buchanan received were in fact intended for Gore and not for Bush.

Based on this, Monroe estimated that the number of mistaken ballots is 2,865.

"The model suggests that, given all of the assumptions that go along with such models, we are 95 percent sure that the number of additional votes that Gore should have received is between 2,135 and 3,177," Monroe said.

Monroe's study also showed that Buchanan was not the only candidate listed on the right side of the ballot to receive vote ratios that were higher than expected.

Monroe's analysis showed that Socialist Party candidate David McReynolds and Constitution Party candidate Howard Phillips -- both listed on the right side of the ballot like Buchanan -- also received higher percentages of votes in Palm Beach County than they did in the rest of the state. The analysis also showed that support for Libertarian candidate Harry Browne and Green Party candidate Ralph Nader was lighter than expected.

"This is more evidence that it was the butterfly ballot and not something else that caused the unusual outcome," Monroe said.
