Frankly Bill I disagree. Everyone is so sure of how Gore would have behaved after 9/11. I for one remember Gore in NYC in 1988 running as a right wing democrat, hand in hand, with the then Mayor Koch. Who could have imagined Bush the neocon based on his somewhat isolationist, protectionist, anti-internationalist pre-9/11 views. I would have no problem rooting for Gore and his policies. Hell i rooted for Clinton's success and solutions also. Thought he was great with the mideast peace accords. Who knew Arafat would stab him in the back? mike
