I understand what you're saying and in theory I agree. But much of what you say is just that, theory based on a lot of "what ifs" and assuming the range on this indicator will change based on these "what ifs". You may be right of course.

Understand that I would never base my trading decisions off that chart but if someone is going to tell me the P/C is bullish right here, I can't go along with it which is why this discussion got started in the first place and was when that chart got posted.

It is of my opinion that we are in the lower part of the recent range on that chart, that's a fact. As you say though it could go lower (back to its euphoric readings from a couple of years ago) but for now I don't see any reason to think as much. At best I would call the reading neutral.

And again, this is purely for discussion purposes, not basing any trading decision off this.
